About Przedbórz Landscape Park

Established in 1988, Przedbórz Landscape Park spreads across the central Polish regions of Łódź and Świętokrzyskie Voivodeships, covering a varied terrain dominated by forested hills, river valleys, and agricultural land. The park lies in the catchment area of the Pilica River, which carves scenic gorges and supports rich riparian ecosystems. Forests account for much of the park’s area, featuring mixed stands of pine, oak, and beech, creating a habitat for diverse flora and fauna including several protected species like European beavers and numerous migratory birds. The park also shelters remnants of traditional rural landscapes with small villages and historic architecture, blending cultural heritage with nature conservation. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore numerous marked trails that pass through pristine woodlands, cross riverbanks, and reach observation points providing panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Visitors enjoy hiking, bird watching, fishing in the Pilica River, and cycling on tranquil rural roads within the park. The park’s proximity to the town of Przedbórz provides access to amenities and cultural sightseeing. Seasonal changes highlight the park’s natural beauty, with spring blossoms, vibrant fall foliage, and snowy winters attracting nature lovers year-round. Its protected status ensures conservation of the unique landscape and habitats while supporting sustainable recreation and environmental education.
